TURKEY WEEK IS OVER!!
During the week of November 3rd through November 9th, the Kearney USBC bowler that bowled the most pins over their average in every adult league received a gift certificate from Grand Central Apple Market for a free turkey up to $25 in value. The bowler used their current average in the league they were bowling in (the average had to be based on at least 12 games – only bowlers that had at least 12 games in the league could qualify for a turkey in that league). The local association compiled the winners for each league from the score sheets submitted to them for the week. Winners were posted on our website as soon as they were determined (www.kearneybowling.com). Bowlers had to bowl during their regular scheduled session to qualify (pre-bowled or post-bowled games did not count). Certificates were given to the league secretary for distribution to the winners during the week of November 10th through November 16th. Leagues with a bowling strength of 60 Kearney USBC bowlers or more (12 or more 5 member teams) received two certificates. A bowler could win only one turkey during the week. In case of a tie, fractional pins were used to determine the winner. If a tie still existed, multiple certificates were awarded. NOTE: The local association collected score sheets and compiled the scores and determined the winners in each league.
